Our team is back with another weekly fishing report from the banks of the Kulik River. Enjoy!
Kulik Lodge Fishing Report: July 27 – August 3
This week has brought even more great fishing and bear viewing opportunities for our guests. The Kulik River continues to fish extremely well. More sockeye salmon are moving into the river daily, and pink patches of Alaskan fireweed dot the hillsides. With calm cloudy mornings many clients have been throwing mouse patterns for Kulik River rainbows. This is one of the most exciting ways to fish and the takes can be explosive!
More fly out options are coming into true form over the past few days. Guests are enjoying the variety and are finding great success at any location they choose. Whether you decide to float a river or take a ride on one of our jet boats stashed around the park you will not be disappointed.
Brooks continues to delight bear viewers with plenty of bears and good weather. Many guests have also been taking tours through the Valley of 10,000 Smokes. All come back in awe of the natural beauty of the valley.
